Who actually shows up?
Me, Jacob. Starsky Mechanical is a one-man operation. I answer the phone, do the work, and I am the person you call back if something is not right.
How fast can you get here?
If you are in McKinney, Allen, Melissa, or Prosper, same day is usually doable. Frisco and Plano depend on where I already am. Text me — I will tell you honestly instead of booking a window I cannot hit.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
I charge for the diagnostic, and I tell you the number before I drive out. If you go ahead with the repair, that fee comes off the invoice.
Will you look at another company’s quote?
Happily. Bring me the quote. Sometimes it is fair and I will say so. Sometimes you are being sold a whole system when you need a $40 part.
